Trying to make it to the finish line of midterm season? Just trying to get to reading week? Sounds like you need a well-deserved break! Come to this year's CHARITY FASHION SHOW - COUTURE FOR A CAUSE (featuring 30 King's and Western student models!!) This charity show, taking place in the Kenny Theatre in the Spriett Learning Commons, is looking to raise money for the London Abused Women's Centre (LAWC), an organization that offers abused and exploited women and children hope, shelter and assistance.
This year's theme is Old Hollywood, and not only features clothes from Elizabeth Noel, Desi's Boutique, King's Connection, the Purple Store and swimco (as well as many others) BUT it will also include several variety acts (musical and dance acts, as well as the LAWC)
Tickets will cost $5 for Western students and $10 for General Admission. All proceeds will be going to the LAWC.
Take advantage of an opportunity to see fellow UWO students (and maybe even some of your friends) walk the walk (and talk the talk ;) ) in Couture for a Cause.
